Local Company Comfort Keepers celebrates 10 Years Thank You

Comfort Keepers Celebrates 10 Years of Serving Clients in Delaware County and communities of Montgomery, Chester and Philadelphia Counties.

Springfield, PA (September 5, 2012) – For the past ten years J. Clark Bongaardt, Esquire and his wife Sallie, owners of Comfort Keepers in Springfield and King of Prussia, PA have dedicated themselves to providing seniors and other area residents with exceptional in-home care services, while establishing themselves as one of the leading service providers of in-home care in the area. Clark and Sallie have helped many seniors in the area live independently and safely within their own home and are proud to announce this is their Tenth Year serving seniors and nourishing lives.

Since opening in 2002, Comfort Keepers has grown substantially each year and has been recognized by the community. Starting in 2006, a Comfort Keeper caregiver won the first Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging “COSA” John H. Bauer Direct Caregiver of the Year Award. Then in 2007, another Comfort Keeper caregiver not only repeated that win by being awarded the 2007 John H. Bauer Award, she also was the recipient of the National Comfort Keeper of the Year.   Since 2007, one of Comfort Keepers’ caregivers has won a COSA Direct Caregiver of the Year Award every year the honor has been awarded.  In 2010 and 2011, the community voted and named Comfort Keepers, Delco News Network’s Talk of The Town Senior Services. Most recently Comfort Keepers received the first Mainline Chamber of Commerce’s Give Back Award 2011 for their efforts to Stop Senior Hunger.  The Stop Senior Hunger initiative, launched in 2009, is a campaign to collect and donate dry goods and canned goods to low income seniors.
