Friday, January 10, 2014 12:00 Noon - 3:30 PM
Sproul Lanes 745 S. Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 Route 320
Does your team have what it takes to be the winning league of CHAMBER BOWL? Each year Members of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce gather their best office bowlers together for a game of competitive fun to win a trophy as THE BEST TEAM. Are you a breakout star? Trophies are also given for BEST MALE and BEST FEMALE BOWLER. This winter, we invite you to bring your balls and skills as we bowl three games, drink beer or soda, and eat pizza at Sproul Lanes. Check out our FaceBook page for last year's photos of winners and supporters! Book your team today to settle the score, gain bragging rights, and have a lot of fun. Dry goods and canned foods will be collected at the event to help Stop Senior Hunger, a campaign of Comfort Keepers in Springfield PA. All donations are delivered to low income senior citizen apartment dwellings in Delaware County that partner with Stop Senior Hunger to distribute the food. September is Hunger Action Month - donate food Stop Senior Hunger

Are your employees looking to participate in an easy but rewarding opportunity to help others? If so, consider a Stop Senior Hunger food drive during the month of September. Comfort Keepers serving communities in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia PA counties is looking for partners to host a food drive during the month of September - Hunger Action Month!
Hosting a food drive is very easy. To get started, place a call to the Comfort Keepers office at 610-543-6300. Tell the receptionist you are calling about hosting a food drive, she will connect you with our Community Outreach/Stop Senior Hunger Coordinator Melody McHugh. Melody will assist you with setting up your drive for the month of September.
Comfort Keepers can provide you with a collection box, flyers to hang or hand out and will promote your organization on our web page and other social media sites. Once your food is collected, a Comfort Keepers staff person will come to your location and pick up the food. The food is then personally delivered to a senior citizen program such as the Senior Adult Activity Center S.A.A.C Center in Norristown or is taken directly to some senior citizen apartment dwellings in Delaware County PA that are willing to accept and distribute the food.
