Start off this Saturday November 5, 2011 with a warm breakfast and a warm feeling in your heart by attending the Chichester Alumni Community Band Pancake Breakfast, 8 am to 10 a,m, Saturday, November 5 at Applebees , 4301 Pennell Rd., Aston. The cost is $7 adults and $4 for children - all you can eat!
The Chichester Alumni Community Band is a non-profit band which plays a monthly concert at local nursing homes as well as participates in community parades. We also give an annual college scholarship to a music student.
The 24 year old band is open to everyone from all communities and all high schools! If you played a tuba at 16 and want to play again, if you started flute lessons at age 89 and want a friendly group to share your toots come and join us Tuesday evenings 7 p.m. Reliance Fire Company in Boothwyn.

Health and Safety Fair Hosted by State Representative Stephen Barrar and Upper Chi Township Saturday March 20, 2010
If you are looking for a free event to attend with your family, the Health and Safety Fair on Saturday is it. Held at the Upper Chichester Municipal Complex on Furey Rd in Upper Chichester, the event is open to the public and offers something for everyone of all ages.
The event is from 10am to 1pm and will have variety of state and local agencies, businesses, clubs and organizations present that offers information which affects everyday life.
I attended this event last year and it was fun and there is information on many different types of services. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by. The Municipal building is located on Furey Road which is off of Chichester Ave. For information go to Steve Barrar's website by clicking HERE.
