Spring is here! Time to get out and go to the PA Veteran's Museum in Media, PA!

If you live in the southeastern part of PA or are visiting, I strongly encourage you to visit the PA Veterans Museum located in downtown Media right underneath Trader Joe’s on State Street. I had the privilege of visiting with some veterans there about 6 months ago and I was just amazed at how professionally decorated and educational this museum is. Prior to going into the museum I assumed it might be glass cases with some artifacts but I never dreamed it would have large exhibits as shown in the picture above, video screens that show movies from the war and that these movies have personalized accounts from veterans who live right here in the Delaware Valley area. It has many artifacts to view, large exhibits with true and false questions to test your knowledge and even the small movie theatre where you can watch a film. What a great surprise to enter into this world of history about veterans who live and work right near my home. Recently the museum completed a movie on the Women in the Military so I encourage everyone to take their adult children and grandchildren to see these great displays of valor and contributions to our nation. And do you know what the best part is: it's FREE admission. So don't miss out on a great day out in Media by stopping by the Museum on State Street. Thank you to all the Veterans who have served our country. If you are interested in seeing more about the PA Veterans Museum, click HERE
