Stop Senior Hunger reaches 4000 pound mark!

Comfort Keepers, an in-home senior care provider prides itself on giving back to the community that it serves. As a proud provider for COSA, Comfort Keepers is aware of many of the needs of our seniors in Delaware County and Montgomery County, PA. One of ways Comfort Keepers could help was starting the Stop Senior Hunger Campaign.

Stop Senior Hunger, a campaign to collect dry foods and canned goods started in November of 2009. Since then Comfort Keepers has partnered with several profit and non-profit organizations to collect canned and dry goods to help needy senior citizens in the area. Donations are taken to Palmer House and Stinson Towers in Chester, Lutheran Knolls in Boothwyn and Grace Court in Lansdowne, all senior apartment dwellings. You can be assured your donations go directly to senior citizens as Comfort Keepers staff personally delivers the food.

Some of the partners include Citadel in Springfield and Brookhaven, Oliver Heating and Cooling, Mark Rodgers Allstate Insurance, Murphy AME Church in Chester, Rocky Run YMCA and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Other partners can be viewed on our website by clicking HERE.

Comfort Keepers offices are located in Springfield and King of Prussia PA and their offices serve seniors in Delaware County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia and communities in Chester County, PA. If you would like to donate food to Stop Senior Hunger, please call our office for directions, 610-543-6300. If you have a large donation to make, our staff will pick it up and deliver it to needy seniors.
