Festival of Trees Rose Tree Park is opening Dec 1

This information taken from the Delaware County PA website:

Sample - not an actual tree at festival
Rose Tree Park sparkles during the holiday season with the annual Festival of Lights. Dozens of decorated lit trees and festive displays draw visitors back each year to stroll the glimmering walkways and grounds, linger in the festive atmosphere, and pay a visit to childhood figures such as Charlie Brown & the Peanuts Gang and Santa & his Reindeer. The Festival of Lights opens in early December with a tree lighting ceremony featuring choral performers and the arrival of Santa Claus. The trees are lit nightly from 5:30 - 9:30 for public enjoyment.

According to flyer on their site, the festival starts December1, 2012 and will run until Jan. 1, 2013. Admission is free. The trees are outside so I suggest you dress according to the weather. It's fun, take the whole family and best part is it is FREE admission. To go to county website for more information, click on this link: http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/depts/rosetree.html
